PDCCO has upgraded the engineering department with CADKEY for Windows NT. It is a 2D/3D design package with built in solid modeling capability and drafting software package that complies with ANSI, ISO, DIN, and JIS drafting standards. It allows the import and export of data from other CAD systems through IGES, DXF, and DWG file formats.

CADKEY also has various rendering options which include creating stereolithography (stl) files, mass properties analysis and complex freeform surfacing through the FAST SURF add on package.

These features, along with certain add-on third party applications, will help us to assemble a design system that can perform functions such as shot simulations, and heat transfer and fluid flow analysis.
