Aluminum and Zinc Die Casting Alloys
Our metal alloys are precisely formulated for die casting and offer the mechanical properties of medium-strength metals. They offer product strength, rigidity, and impact and dent resistance. For more information Request the Engineering Materials Guide. See also the alloy properties listed in this section.
We recommend high pressure aluminum die casting when your final product requirements include the following:
- Light Weights
- Increased Heat Resistance
- Corrosion Resistance
- Consistent density for secondary finishing
We recommend high pressure zinc die casting to achieve these qualities:
- Fine density for Thin Walls
- Intricacy of Design
- Improved Bearing Surfaces
- Application of Plating for Appearance
Please note that our alloys comply with the RoHS (EU Directive on the Restrictions of Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment enforced effective July 1, 2006.)
